for the Total Library Labeler

All of these labels are pre-printed with your library name in your choice of colors. They are used for several tasks. Many libraries imprint the significant eight digits of the item bar code number & affix it to every piece of all multi-part assets. This facilitates the reunion of separated parts of the multi-part asset, thus maintaining the asset integrity & value. See 1st 3 below.

Some libraries use them to mark the arrival dates of library assets & affix them to the inside of the back cover.

Some libraries mark the arrival dates of periodicals on the front cover thus deterring the removal by patrons who thought the periodical was one they brought from home to read in your library. See the green/black sample below:
